About the Subject

The Real World, an episode penned by writer Carl Binder, is the sixth episode of Stargate: Atlantis' third season, screened in Canada and the United States in early September 2006. I decided to apply to run the fanlisting for it because despite the fact that its plot has been done in various ways on other shows, I thoroughly enjoy watching the episode, as my favourite Stargate: Atlantis character is Elizabeth Weir and this episode was primarily based around her.

Episode Synopsis:

Dr. Elizabeth Weir wakes up in a mental institution, where she is told that the Stargate and Atlantis exist only as figments of her profoundly stressed imagination in the aftermath of a serious car accident.
