What is a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans.

Why Manchester?

I've been living in Manchester for a number of years, and I love the city. I truly feel it's home to me now. I vastly prefer it to London -- Manchester is all open space, people are mostly polite to each other, every native thanks the bus driver as they get off the bus (which I've found in certain other parts of the country people think is weird), there are events all the time, a heart full of music, and a real community feeling to the city and its various estates. I live in Gorton, attend Cross Street Chapel (Unitarian) in the city centre, and have previously lived in Rusholme and Fallowfield. It's an affordable, happy city in general, and my medical treatment here and at Manchester Royal Infirmary is the best I've ever had, from anywhere I have lived in my life. I could leave if I chose, but I don't want to. Manchester has become my home, of residence and of heart. I regard myself as an adopted Mancunian. Hence the fanlisting! I love this city!
