what is a fanlisting?
To quote TFL: "A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are); they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not official) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans." This fanlisting is for fem(me)slash fanfiction, about which more information can be found in the section below this. about the subject
Femmeslash (also known as saffic, Sapphic, femslash, girlslash, slash, yuri, or shoujo-ai) is a variation on the traditional definition of slash fiction -- homosexual/homoerotic/homoromantic fanfiction. In femmeslash, female fictional characters are paired in a romantic and/or sexual relationship in a fan-written story. The prefix "fem" comes from a shortening of the word "female" and its alternate "femme" from the French for "woman". about the fanlisting
This fanlisting was approved by TFL in May 2006 after previously having been removed from the network. It's owned by Trialia; if you need to contact me, email trialia@gmail.com. :) I do not own the genre of fanfiction, quite obviously, and the only femmeslash fanfiction I own is what I myself have written. *grin* The layout for this fanlisting was made using an image found with Google, edited in Adobe Photoshop 7 and Notepad, using the font Violation (before it was trendy :P). It's optimised for 1024x768 resolution using the Mozilla Firefox browser; again, if you have any cross-compatibility problems, please contact me. Thanks for visiting!
