What is a fanlisting?

The TFL.org definition of a fanlisting is as follows: "A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans."

Dreamfall

This fanlisting's subject is the song As The World Falls Down, as performed by David Bowie in the 1986 fantasy movie Labyrinth, and it's the only one listed at The Fanlistings Network for its subject. It was adopted from Denise on February 27th, 2006 and reopened here at Unfaithful-Mirror.net five days later, now owned and run by Trialia; the site and its layout were created in Notepad, Internet Explorer 6 and Photoshop, using a photograph of Jennifer Connelly from the sequence during which the song is performed in the movie. The fanlisting is run using PHPFanBase and Fan Admin. :) I own neither the song, the original image used on this layout, the movie nor David Bowie and cannot contact anyone officially connected to or affiliated with the aforementioned quantities. Labyrinth, related characters, and music are © Jim Henson, George Lucas, and TriStar Pictures; "As The World Falls Down" is © David Bowie.

As The World Falls Down

In the movie, Jareth, played by David Bowie, tells the character Hoggle to give Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) a peach. Unaware of its provenance, she takes a bite, shortly after which she begins to hallucinate. Jareth sends out some crystals and Sarah hallucinates being drawn into them and into a fantasy world (or rather, another). In a ballroom filled with people and creatures dressed for a masquerade, she meets Jareth and as the song plays, they dance.
